Cheers S - however could you send one of your bods over to sort it for me?

what an awful system - ripping CD's for a client on their Mac and itunes keeps crashing - force delete doesn't work and have to wait for it to do its thing (whatever that might be)

Ctrl-Alt-Del is so much better Whistle

n osx simply select the alt and apple keys (the 2 directly left of the space bar) and a box appears to select the application you want to quit. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

I wouldn't be seen dead with any Mac bods, so can't help I'm afraid. I can however send a chap over to your client with a club hammer to smash his Mac into tiny pieces and then supply a nice replacement PC for him Thumbs Up

Don't listen to S he's a geek and thinks like a geek! The Apple Mac is bar far the better machine - he just hasn't the brains or logic to understand it because it doesn't work in his narrow spectrum of expertise! Wink RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

When in the application - press the apple logo on bottom left key, looks like a squiggle and press the Q button at the same time - it's not a forced quit, just closes down the application there and then 2007 RRS TDV6 HSE JAVA/EBONY SIDE STEPS, REAR GUARDS. 22'' STORMER WHEELS. VA, the way to quit quicker is as above, you don't even get a box come up - just closes right away, what you are doing is forcing a quit - called Force Quit - pretty much like a CTRL ALT DEL function when something hangs......squiggle and Q button works on everything that isn't stuck - and another tip - when using net on Apple - use Safari - very very rare it crashes, unlike Explorer......
