England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

I had exactly the same thing happen to me in my X5 i was in a car park and i stopped to let a group of guys cross the road and one of them spat on the car and called me a w****er! Had my 2 little cousins in the car so not much i could do! very annoying and left a nice dried spit mark on the bonnett. There is a lot of hate around these days. I think it must be jealousy mate dont worry about it, i pitty people like that, they wont get anywhere in life!

Heres an example of what eventually happens to these cats (names changed to protect identity!). I'll keep it as short as poss!

My mate 'Steve', went to meet a mate in his country local pub. Whilst waiting at bar he noticed someone staring at him. Long story short this continued for next hour, Steves mate never showed, so he decided to leave as said geezer was making him uncomfortable. As hes crossing car park he hears footsteps behind and this bloke is there. Steve asks whats wrong and the bloke punches him to floor and kicks his head in! (charming). Steve staggered back into pub, went into lounge and asked landlady to call police. Landlady asks for description, and in meantime this divvo has sauntered back into bar and is sat finishing his drink! Steve says "THATS HIM!", and the landlady says "OH, 'DAVE', SORRY, HE'S DONE THAT BEFORE, APPARENTLY HES A BIT BACKWARD AND HAS GOT AN ISSUE WITH PEOPLE WITH A FEW QUID / NICE CARS" (!!!!!!!!!!!)

Steve called police etc etc. basically got nowhere (went to court and all that) and so left it. Months later Steve went back into his local and guess what? The nutter is IN THERE having a drink!!!!! Steve complains to landlady who apologises but explains he'll get nasty if kicked out.

Cut to 'Tom' - another local. Hes a bit posh, Land rover driving country gent type. And a good friend of Steve. He comes over to Steve and Steve explains what had happened with this bloke.

Nothing more is said, and they sit having a beer until Tom decides to go to loo. Whilst taking a pee, he hears someone else coming in behind and next thing feels a hard punch to his ear. Tom falls forward but then puts his hand up and says "alright, alright, leave it can't you see im taking a pee - give me a sec.."

The bloke apparently starts dancing up and down Ali style waiting to finish job off. Ok, so you all know whats coming. Tom kicks the little wan Censored rs HEAD IN. Turns out he was in SAS (I know that sounds poxy, but apparently its true and hey, someone has to really be 'Ex sas'), and anyway my mate Steve saw it all and the bloke being dragged out covered in blood and crying. Tom told him quite politely never to show his face in the pub again and kicked him up the arse and down some steps into a heap!

EXCELLENT, No? Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

See, these nobs get it in the end. Thumbs Up

Great story.

I was told a great true story about 3 years ago.

A small village over near Shrewsbury.

Local old boy rides his bike to the post office/general store every day for a little bit of shopping.
(more social than shopping really).

during school holidays a gang of local hoodies (little darlings) start playing him up and pushing him about
The old boy didnt visit the shop for a few days and when he did he was on foot with his hand bandaged.

The post office staff apologised for ignoring the fracas but they didnt want any trouble.

"did the lads hurt you very badly??? were you afraid to go out of the house?"

he hit the biggest lad as hard as he could and thought he'd broke his hand.
The lads said sorry when he went to hit one of the other lads.

I'd have paid money to see the look on the lads faces .

Censored Simpletons........that's what you get when the nanny state and good dooers get involved, a complete lack of respect. 15 years ago there was very little of this unless you were in the midst of a huge rough council estate......unfortunately it is now the norm.....a sad day for all.

I had an instance once (some 4 years ago now) when one of the "unwashed" decided to tackle me whilst filling up my X5.....made a beeline for me across the garage forecourt. Walked straight upto me and shouted "planet murderer" at the top of her voice....I naturally carried on with the fill up and asked her to simply step away as her lack of personal hygeine was making me queasy.

She walked off to the kiosk to pay whilst muttering. I followed suit and before you know it we are both back in our pride and joys, mine being the X5 and hers being a B reg Montego diesel.........to an hilarious audience, she started up her old banger, which was probably uninsured, untaxed and certainly unroadworthy and expelled about the same amount of Co2 and suffocating Carsenagenics into the atmosphere in one hit that I would in the X5 over a 12 month period.

Needless to say, I had to say something, so pulled out in front of her as to block her path and in the same loud shrieking noise as she had exclaimed to me (think Monty Python and the Knights that go nee) and called her a hypocrit and suggested she invest in (a) a new car and (b) a bar of soap

I felt good for weeks after that Thumbs Up My Gladiators:

I have nothing against normal behaved folk from any walk of life.....it is just unfortunate that the very small minority that clot our society have no respect for us, the police or any other authority, so they basically see themselves as untouchable. Sadly and in most cases the truth.

WE (the victims) are seen as the pests who create more work for the police who are lets face it, powerless to do anything about the Censored scumbags.

Now imagine these retards with alcohol or any other substance in their systems - end result - we are ALL f Censored d Big Cry My Gladiators:

Never got to much hassle in the wifes landie in the UK, mostly due to the fact i only used it for me and my mates at the weekend to head off to clay shoots, so you had 4 blokes who were usually armed with Beretta 682's Browning 425's Laughing not the right lot to pick a fight or get verbal with Thumbs Up

Then again the subaru used to attract all kinds of unwanted attention from the Nova Burberry brigade, bless the little ASBO CHAV's, and funnily enough low income reps in their debadged 318's, the usually w@nk34s sign or mouthing at me across the lanes if you did not want to race the little shits..and basically who could be @r5ed. some of the things i do not miss about the UK, and something thats not overly present in OZ i am glad to say yet another Pommie living in Sydney

Seeing as you seem to straddle both cultures, what's a Chav? Is it the same as a Bogan? While I did originally come from the UK, I came to Oz 15 years ago and I don't get back to the UK very much. It seems that new words have been invented since I was last there like Blair, Brown and Chav. In my day it was Thatcher, Major and Yoof as Janet Street Porter used to say.

Times move on I guess...

Cheers from KL (this week)

On the rare occasions I get people ranting at me I tend to keep quiet until they've finished then I ask whether they need professional help - this usually is followed by another 5 minute rant from them during which I tend to walk away. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

when we meet people of this low ilk, perhaps we should show them what a large 4x4 can do, and just drive over them. admittedly, it waill take some time to remove remains from the wheel arches, but perhaps worth it.
