jealousy or just bad manners

Afternoon chaps,

I've just returned from buying some expensive diesel and feel compelled to share my experience with you all.

While refuelling I noticed two fellows at the pump in front who were discussing my RRs while refuelling there own car.

As their debate finished one of the "fellows" attempted an olympic spit at my RRS but missed.

Long story short it was not appropriate for me to retailliate or pick a fight.
They drove off , laughing. Mad

Have any other forum members had this experience (the spitting not the expensive diesel!!)

Sounds like a big lump of jealousy to me Mart.

They were probably debating the current world oil shortage, which is causing the high fuel costs and decided that it is all your fault !!! Driving your big gas guzzling 4 x 4 is killing the world Shocked Killing the world, I tell you !!! Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Where did this happy event take place? Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I think I know the petrol station you are talking about, I drive past it occasionally whilst visiting friends over that way. I'll remember to stay away if I need fuel at any time. Bad manners is not excusing oneself for delivering an air biscuit whilst saying grace at the Sunday dinner table.

Gozzing a logi at someones car is a bit different no?

These types are just dullards and bullys. They resent people and things that they are not / can never own. Trust me, one day they'll pick on the wrong fella and get their bloody heads kicked in.

Dont vex about it Mart! U did the right thing - let it ride big man! Cool

Had the same think happen to me many moons ago - closely followed by a verbal exchange with a d Censored head on the forecourt. Isnt it an indication of the times that you feel that you cant even say anything to them for fear that they may be a pair of knife wielding morons ...... Evil or Very Mad

I am seriously beginning to look at my second home in Germany as a preferred option to get away from this sort of anti-social shit. RRS TDV6 SE Java Black +towpack +tintent +Permagrin
