I know what you mean about the coaches. I came over a blind rise on the Ring once at about 100mph in the wet only to find a coach taking up most of the track. I slid sideways towards him and I still don't know to this day how it wasn't a bad crash. As if the bike / car combo isn't dangerous enough! Twisted Evil

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Rimini Red

Sorry for the delay, finally have a video sorted. Its not my neatest video, way off line in a few places I know but I wasn't going for record lap times, and the Mrs was in the car so couldn't 'go silly'

Still this one worked out about a 9m40 lap which is about the same a mate does in his Alfa 147GTA

Brakes were brilliant actually, Halfway through my 2nd consecutive lap (no car park cool down) the pedal went a little long on the run down to Adenau but very quickly went solid again.

I was truly amazed at the lack of role and the corner speed I could carry, having not driven the Sport in anger on public roads I think if it were, a few hot hatches could get a shock.

Great video, I only just noticed it was a TDV8, I thought it was an SC you were going so fast!!! I take it you've had it chipped?

Completely standard at the moment... The TDV8 is a quick machine past 50mph.

Remap probably isn't far away though.
