New Zealand 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Stornoway Grey
Cruise Control Message

I noticed on some recent pictures from ChrisH of his dash that he had cruise control set to 70mph and that a message was displayed on the upper centre green display unit bewteen the tach and speedo. Is this something new for 2008, applicable to the TDV8 or a software upgrade that may be available? My 2007 TDV6 does not display this (I found it useful in previous cars) and if possible would like to go to the dealer armed with a possible solution to have it enabled if possible. Cheers.

It is a feature specific to vehicles with ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) unfortunately, so only SC and TDV8.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

On a similar subject (and a blatant case of not being arsed to read the manual) does anyone know what's the function of the button at the far right of the set of 6 above the CD player and to the right of the door lock / unlock buttons ? The button has a picture of a vehicle in a triangle on it. I think it has something to do with the ACC - but no idea what ....? RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Yes, I think its related to the ACC.
It might be the switch to activate the forward alert feature. Malaysia Boleh!

If you switch the button on then you can set the vehicle to alert you when you approach a vehicle. You can then set the sensitivity (distance) using the steering wheel controls.

Amazing that after 3 years of owning these cars, we're still learning what the buttons do! Laughing Thumbs Up
