United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

Just bought a bottle of it to try in the Defender - 12 years old, 69000 miles, it will be interesting to see if I notice any difference A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Tata TDv8 HSE - Stornoway/ebony and straight grain walnut with towpack, Tasmods and an HST grille. Coming soon LEDs in the headlights
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

M, we cannot get ultimate diesel at any of the local village filling stations or anywhere in Stirling except the station at the Moto services on the M9 and their fuel is 4p a litre more expensive than a mile down the road away from the m'way.
I have noticed with the TDv8 that I get noticably better miles per gallon using one of the big brand names than I get when I use the stuff from any of the local supermarkets, it also takes a lot longer to fill up at the supermarkets because their fuels foam so much - I think among the additives that the oil majors put in their fuels there must be an antifoaming agent. So I don't get so many nectar points these days! A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Hmmm... I wonder if there'll ever be a definitive answer to the supermarket vs main brand fuel argument. You read stuff that says there's no difference then you read stuff that says the opposite. For what it's worth, the BP Ultimate diesel does seem to perform better - I often put it in my 535 (when I had a decent motor) and it did perform noticeably better.

I'm now only using BP ultimate or Shell V Power diesel and the MPG and performance do seem a lot better but not sure it's worth the extra 10p per litre. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

The local Shell place is selling the normal Shell derv at £1.04ppl this week, that's down 3p a litre on last week and matches the local supermarkets.................... strangely the BP place half a mile up the road is selling BP normal diesel at £1.089ppl and still seem to get a lot of cutomers - must be those on expense accounts and collecting Nectar points! A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

About £0.87 around here, high but still doing ok compared to over there. '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

I've used quite a few bottles of it in my Jag X-Type and it really works. I'm the worlds biggest sceptic about stuff like this but it really makes about a 5-10% improvement in performance I reckon. It especially improved how fast it got to it's pathetic top end. It takes a tank of fuel for your car to adjust to it but it kicks in after a bit.

A friend introduced me to the stuff and he swears by it in his TD5 Disco (he is a Landrover nut and a bigger sceptic than me). I don't feel like I need it in the RRS so I don't bother with it anymore, but in my opinion, it really works. Thumbs Up
