England 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
VARIOUS ERROR MESSAGES!!!!

Had these error messages come up all at same time:-

TRANSMISSION FAULT LIMITED GEARS AVAILABLE
HDC FAULT SUSPENSION LOWERING
PARKING BRAKE FAULT

This was while travelling at m-way speeds (90ish). The vehicle slows down to 30. I pull over onto hard shoulder, then switch off. Restart and everything ok. But this has happened 6 times in two weeks now.

Car in to stealers today, they tell me its a blocked fuel filter and is common on cars with 28K ish miles. Cos its a fuel filter its non-warranty and will cost c£100

Anyone else have this problem???

(On the plus side just signed up for THIRD FOC LR experience today).

These problems crop up but if it was the fuel filter I doubt that can explain suspension errors. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

It is probably poor earth connection on one of the wiring looms

similar problems

i get the same warnings when my wife drives my tdv8, nothing to do with her driving, she's great, it is to do with the hand controls that i have fitted (legs do not work well after bike crash). the hand controls are linked to both aceel and brake pedal, slight movements can occure in the brake pedal when using the accel, not enought to stop the car, but to trigger a warning that the brake padals are being applied while driving.
to cure this, i have fitted a spring to help retain the brake pedal in the correct position and so it does not move, this seems to have worked.
be interesting to see what other thoughts people have on this one.

Yep. Its been ok since. Had it done with the 30K service TDV6 HSE 2007 model, Stornoway Grey, Ivory leather,Privacy glass, Premium ICE Pack, side steps, tasmod sills, now towbar and seat covers
