Wokkaman, you've got to remember just how many have been sold, and that there are many (Me included) who haven't had a single blip in over 2 years of ownership Thumbs Up

Hopefully, (And this doesn't help in any way those that have had problems) these incidences are realtively isolated. 06 RRS TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony, PTI, Running Boards, Privacy, S/C Grille/Vents, Stormers, Tasmods, Black Badge Soon...

Agreed. I know you'd say different Wokka, but to say the RRS is generally unreliable isn't actually true as this survey points out. It does have a couple of recurring issues, but show me a car that doesn't Very Happy

Isolated or not, it is unreasonable that we are expected to put up and shut up for what is a premium car.

Each case is individual and warrants individual investigation, but once you get so far down the road of "trying" to rectify the issue, you have to draw the line.

Quite rightly that line has now been drawn and the only way forward is LR intervention and resolution. Thumbs Up If you exhaust the dealer network resolution route, responsibility falls at the door of the manufacturer. Isolated or not, it requires fixing - simple.

5 attempts at rectification, as in my case, is very unreasonable and totally unacceptable Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Big Cry My Gladiators:

RRS S/C HST - respect of the highest order
Freeloader 2 SE with all the toys - my baby RR
Merc SL55 AMG - Tarmac ripper!

Disco3 - Gone
Defender 90 TD - Gone
FFRR Vogue - Gone
BMW X5 4.4 - Gone
LR Defender 300Tdi - Gone
LR Defender 2.5 PETROL - Gone

I sill think we should go for it, the total vehicle value would be over £800k and I reckon it we set a date then more would join?

I will look at some possible dates and get back to everyone ** RRS HSE TDV8 2008.5, Java, Black, Privacy Glass, TV - Side Steps - LR Sills - Clear Side Lens

Well tonight has almost tipped me over the edge WRT knocking noise.

Just got back from a jaunt out and it seems the noise is now present on the flattest roads Shocked Shocked

It is an absolute Censored joke.......no other manufacturer would get away with this and I jest not. BMW, Merc, Audi and to some extent even the lower class manufacturers........my car is sounding more like a knackered out Morris Minor by the day......which is simply not cricket.

5 Censored visits to the stealers, apologies, make that 6 in the past year to recitfy the fault and still it knocks like a Lada.........if it was not for what is otherwise a fantastic car, I would trade it in tomorrow.

LR engineers need a good kick in the lower regions for this, they should be very, very ashamed.

I love the brand ST as you know. I have had 7 RR and every one of them has been in at least 3 times with faults, my last FFRR had to have a new engine at 38k miles. I am really pleased for you that you havent had any problems Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil but not trying to cause any trouble I think it would be nice for them to know some of us aren't happy.

It's just a shame if a real die hard LR lover like myself is thinking about leaving because I am always worried that I am going to have a problem with the car. Sad Sad I want a G55 AMG !! or do I?? will I be waiting for??
