What we are starting to see is that the back seat passengers are at more risk that the driver & passenger. That other pic last week of the rolled RRS was frightening if you have kids! RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

I'm worried for the back seat passengers in the event of a crash! But all in all I think it is on the top % in crash safety. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

I would say that RRS was not involved in a road incident........ the damage is awful but would say it was one of two things..... it has rolled while offroad or has been damaged while being shipped out to the UAE. There isn't any thing on it that shouts high speed collision. The damage is similar to what I have seen to cars that have been shipped through heavy(read very rough!) weather
or have gone on their side offroad (I did something similar but in slo mo in my Defender!) It might even have found a bit of wandering livestock in the desert.
I think that S/C has been charging over sand dunes and met an unfortunate
end.The only other thing I can imagine that would cause the rear damage would be a shunt on the rear quarter
The airbags all worked OK ! A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Tata TDv8 HSE - Stornoway/ebony and straight grain walnut with towpack, Tasmods and an HST grille. Coming soon LEDs in the headlights
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

But the air bags have activated - would this happen in transit or rolling? RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

In a roll I believe they would. I would be interested to know if the DSC was de-activated before hand. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.
