I doubt it... usually car vs car. Be interesting to see which comes out on top. I'd hope the RRS.... I love my BMs, and the X6 is a good car, but it's fugly... and won't be as good value as the RRS is. Just my 2p Very Happy

Saw about 12 of them on a test run or press run on the A33 near Reading......all going the other way, nice side profile, but hideous at the front and back......looks even more like a 5 series on stilts!! Shocked My Gladiators:

Anyone seen the review ??? I had a brief flick through a copy at work....seems the X6 IS the winner, but not by much and reviewer was no overly impressed Shocked

Naturally they were comparing two completely different cars designed for different jobs, the Censored 's!!

Autocar summary - it seems he did not like them both that much - gave the win to the 6 series on stilts, oops, X6, but basically said that he cannot wait for the day when these cars are gone and the manufacturers are producing more efficient cars Shocked Rolling Eyes

My summary - both cars look good and are good at their respective jobs - it's just the RRS looks the part....oh and the reviewer is obviously a Censored for adding such b0ll0x to the proceedings. My Gladiators:

RRS S/C HST - respect of the highest order
Freeloader 2 SE with all the toys - my baby RR

Disco3 - Gone
Defender 90 TD - Gone

CAR did a test of X6 50 X Drive (Or something stupid like that) Vs Infiniti FX50 (Which I actually really like) Vs RRS S/C.

Sadly RRS got a bit of a bloody nose Crying or Very sad 06 RRS TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony, PTI, Running Boards, Privacy, S/C Grille/Vents, Stormers, Tasmods, Black Badge Soon...

The RRS is in need of some updates and PDQ, after all it is now 3 years old and is facing newer and stiffer competition.....I still find it hard that they compare the X6 with the RRS......after all, the X6 is hardly an all rounder is it!!

When LR bring out an SAV (as BMW conveniently call them) but with the LR having man balls instead of a vulva as the X6 possesses - then fine compare away......until then, the test are flawed and in my view - pointless. My Gladiators:
