Following on from this "if" I was to leave my RRS in close proximity to a chiping company in North Hampshire, which company should I park close too |

Site sponsor Bell Autos may be able to put you in touch with someone local to you, Wokka... other than that and if you fancy being fleeced, a short trip down to Overfinch in Farnham? I'm led to believe they buy their upgrades in from Turbochip though so you're bound to get them cheaper elsewhere. |

I read an article in the Metro this week that said Chipping would invalidate the warranty and insurance if not declared as a modification.

You certainly should declare it to your insurer. Your warranty can only be voided if the chip can be attributed to causing the problem, but this effectively anything associated with propelling the vehicle eg engine, transmission, ECU. If you do a search on 'Chipping' you will find plenty of discussion on here. The end result is it comes down to risk assessment. Though every time you get in your car you are taking a risk - with your life! 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps. |

I approached my insurance company and they said they wouldnt even consider allowing me to 'chip' my car unless it was an approved LR product or accessory!
