The jealous US?

Ever since I began to buy/lease new cars I had always gone with the bavarians. 328 IS three times in a row, then to an x5 for 2 years, never a vandal. Just picked out my 1st RRS SC less than 3 weeks ago. Already it's been spit on, kicked in the door and yesterday I found a 55 gallon construction barrel on the hood(bonnet). UNBELIEVABLE!! Thank God for the insurance/warranty package i paid extra for. Anyway, I searched these forums and found some old posts about vandalism, is this just part of owning an $80K vehicle, is this normal? I'm quite frustrated by the situation altogether. but at least there will be no cost to repair any of it. Sorry if this has been covered AD NAUSEAM. Crying or Very sad

Mate sorry to hear about your woes......I can't see that kind of thing happening here - I know in Europe (not necc UK) our cousins love the RRS - they still see it as a very english type of car. And when driving thru London lots of tourists point etc, but never heard of anything other than praise - envy is not a nice thing, when manifested like the way it has been with yours...whatever you do - don't give in to it mate....stay with the RRS 2007 RRS TDV6 HSE JAVA/EBONY SIDE STEPS, REAR GUARDS. 22'' STORMER WHEELS. FULL COLOUR CODE. SMOKED SIDE LIGHTS

Sadly JS there will always be jealous w Censored s who resent you having such a fine automobile.

Take some comfort that you are pi Censored g them off and that you are above them in most, if not every way.

Bugger thats a bit off.... Texas is full of "trucks" so no one minds my RRS, besides if its the $$$ then my sport is peanuts to some of the cash spent around here an 4 wheels. Brit across the Pond Wink

Reminds me of a story, true or not I don’t know, but I just love the sentiment.

A guy had his lovely black Porsche 911 parked up outside a pub or a shop. He came out to find a big dirty scratch down to the metal, the full length down the side of the car. Over across the street there was a group of young thugs sitting on the wall laughing at him.

So the owner calmly walked around to the other side of the car, took out his key & ran it down the side of the car, gouging another scratch. He then looked over at the lads on the wall & said…. “isn’t it great to have money & not give a sh Censored t” sat into the car & drove off.

Found a 6 inch key scratch on my passenger door this weekend. This is the first time my car has gotten keyed. I park in a parking lot and I suspect jealousy since the range is the nicest car in the lot. Fukin Sad here in NJ

I don't think anyone here was generalizing.... it was a question - hence the question mark.

as in, is the US jealous? as we have found the answer could be suggested, no, as it happens elsewhere.
