thanks Ant - looks like it's the Shell as I would normally fill up at Sainsburys - amazing - I thought they were exactly the same - will keep on monitoring it though.

What mpg were you getting from Sainsburys fuel? |

Have been getting up to 32mpg from mine on long runs to the South Coast, at steady speed on the cruise. That is using my spreadsheet and not the trip computer - that is very optimistic and seems to give about 2mpg more over doing an MPG calculation from what you actually put into the car and divide it by the miles covered. I am also getting 2-3 mpg more using non supermarket fuel. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

I'm getting nearer 4mpg better than Sainsburys fuel - There may be 4p difference per litre in the price of the diesel but I still think I am quids in. INstead of getting sub 400 miles to the tank I am now getting in excess of 450. I'm doing a longer term test though each time I fill up.

I've been using normal Shell diesel in mine, not Vpower as it isn't available in this area, and the normal shell is the same price as the supermarket stuff around here too. Supermarkets are now only for emergency fill-up's. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Tim, your fuel will be Dutch at the moment anyway, won't it? |
