2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Adriatic Blue
what is the use of the weight blocks under the rearbumper?

discovered some heavey weight blocks underneath the rear bumper of the RRS..the ones that are near the exhaust pipes at both outer ends.
Are they of any importance or can they just be removed?.
I guess they have something to do with the stability of the car,but not sure

Opinions are divided as to their purpose, but yes they are important!
Something to do with smoothing out the ride or vibrations.
Somebody over in the USA did remove them but haven't heard what difference it made....................... A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

they are very important - I'm sure the guys over at Disco3 had a play with them and discovered they are critical to the whole suspension setup
