Several people have tried replacing them on a DIY basis but found that the glasses are awkward to refit and easily broken......... best to bite the bullet and let the dealers guys break the replacements rather than you breaking them! You only pay for one replacement mirror that way! |

Try to replace them yourself at your own risk! It's damn near impossible.... £29 gets you a new glass and if you go and have a quiet word with one of the service advisors on your way back from the parts dept they'll usually send someone out to fit it on the understanding it takes "just 5 mins", which of course it doesn't and ends up costing the dealer about 3 different mirror glasses while they struggle to get them on |
