Anyway down to it.. i'm about to purchase a TDV8 Black on Black. Its registered 2007 but the plate is a 56

Do you think this would make a big difference on the future resale of the vehicle say after 3 years... i recon if i spend about 2-3K more i can get an 07/57 reg!!!

I don't tink you would recoup your 3k in three years when it comes to part ex. So my advice would be keep your pound notes in your pocket.  Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I agree - if it was a smaller amount of money I might say go for but in 3 years time a car that is 6 months older than a similar car that's not is never going to be worth 3k more.
