Problem with my seat.

Firstly, just to put things into context here,
I am 5"11 and weigh 11.5 stone, so im not what you would call over weight or anything..

When i get in and out of my RRS the technique which is best is to lower it to access height and turn my right leg to the direction of the door then kind of shuffle out. Hard to describe, but i assure you its normal and probably similar to what everyone else does too.

Now getting to the point here, basically when i turn to get out, i put pressure on the seat pad on near the door and in the last few days its been creaking as i get out and actually clicking down and up when i put my arse on it as i get out.. slights annoying, and actually feels like something is broken or about to break off on the seat.. not good considering i've only done 10k miles and the car isn't even a year old yet!

Have a couple of minor things like the PDC reprogramme so may book it in now to get it repaired and check'd out. Anyone know of any technical journal or anything where a problem like this may be documented in detail?

You all seem to be good at this..
Sometimes i don't read all the threads under general or technical, because the topic is of no interest to me, or i've not had an issue with it, but then when the thread has been going for like ever, and its now 100 pages long, i start to wonder, then on looking at the thread realise, i've missed a load of banter which has been going on for days!!

For example: The + and - from the RRS
Under My RRS area..
Classic example..
Its all good fun though!!

Probably another main difference between us and the D3 site... there's a vicious rumour going around that they actually talk about D3 stuff!! Who'd have thought it - it'll never catch on!! Laughing
