I suggest you read some of the threads on D3 to see what happens with TDV6 engines that have petrol in them. DS3 TDV6 HSE

I think you might be getting me wrong here - I've seen this van promoting this service and want to see what they say - I too doubt this is a real solution but who knows? RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

The problem with the TDV6 is the fuel pumps are lubrcated by the diesel, there is a high speed spinning vane that the instant petrol hits it; it dries up and the vanes start to break up and spit bits of metal into the fuel lines. Like I said the TDV6/ V8 and most modern diesels will not run on petrol even in very weak concentrations; if you've got one have a go |
