Rear wiper - is a redesign due?

On my FFRR the rear screen wiper was neatly recessed above the window, not like the D3/RRS one and it really
pCensored es me off that I have to wipe the rear screen so many times after using the wash wipe to get the dribbles off the screen after washing it - especially at this time of the year when there is salt on the road. The system on the FFRR was great in every respect except one - the rear wiper sweep speed wasn't variable but this may have been changed with the facelift 2 years ago. At least the wasted water on the FFRR ran off over an unswept section of the rear screen A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

TDv8 HSE - Stornoway Grey with ebony and straight grain walnut wood-a-like interior with towpack, Tasmods. The best car I have ever owned
Now departed - Giverny Green TDv6SE with Aspen and Parchment interior - nearly the best car I have ever owned
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road
