United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Well I have test driven a Honda CRV top of the range, a Mitsubishi Outlander Diamond top of the tange and a RAV4... here are my thoughts....

Honda CRV - relatively noisy engine, good torque, not at all comfortable. Decent interior and looks well finished

Mitsubishi Outlander - VERY noisy, put it this way you can't have a conversaion with the person next to you when you're doing above 60mph! The interior looks really unfinished but it has loads of oomph! A real beast!

RAV4 - very quiet, even at 100mph (whoops!). Decent interior but the boot space is very very por! Wouldn't even get a pushchair in there!

So, now my head is done in and my car goes on Monday! Getting back into the RRS after test driving these SUV's is like getting into a warm bubble bath.. just luxury! Gutted that my RRS is going! Anyone want to share their lottery winnings with me?! Wink On order - FL2 TDV4 SE in Black

SOLD - MY08 | RRS TDV6 2.7 HSE in Java Black| Ivory Premium | Zebrano wood| Factory fitted privacy glass| 20” alloys| Side Steps| S/C Grile and vents| Hybrid TV| Front and rear mats| Boot Liner| And now RRS.co.uk Umbrella!!

The only problem with a Beemer is that I live in the countryside and the roads are very up and down. If we get any snow/ice then the BMW won't be great.. what do you think? On order - FL2 TDV4 SE in Black

Boolia,

I live in a similar location - the BM was fine - the only problem I had was with the M-Sport bodykit - just had to take it steady across the field to the house

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

Have you tried a low miles/ex demo Freelander2 Boolia? They are very good, very comfortable and nearly as capable in the rough stuff as any other LR and streets ahead of the CRV/RAV4/Outlander and on a different planet to the Freelander1. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

TDv8 HSE - Stornoway Grey with ebony and straight grain walnut wood-a-like interior with towpack, Tasmods. The best car I have ever owned
Now departed - Giverny Green TDv6SE with Aspen and Parchment interior - nearly the best car I have ever owned
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

If you want sat nav then you'll need the "Media Package" and you'll want to go for the M sport model all the rest is up to you like leather and all that sort of stuff

Just been looking there one on A/t (sorry don;t know how to post a link on the mac wil get it in a sec)

The 20d engine is good we've had 5 of them now each time they just get better and better 0 - 60 you'll be looking at about 7.9 i think so lots of power if you ever need it RRS TDV6 Gone but still around
