Had my 56 RRS in the dealer for the 2nd time to attend to my squealing brakes. 1st time they changed the pads and lubricated them, stopped them squealing for about 10 miles. This time they said it's because I have new pads on old discs and they needed to bed in. So why were they squealing before the pads were changed and it has done 3k since the pads were changed so I think they would be bedded in by now. Drove it away and they are worse than ever! I think they're suggesting that I pay to have the discs changed.

afraid to say you may just have to get use to it, mine has had the brakes adjusted, stripped, redone, at least four times now and yes they still bl00dy squeak, best remedy is turn up the radio |

Doesn't seem that anyone has actually got them fixed, just lots of visits to the dealer.

The only TSB I have seen on brakes squealing while driving is one issued way back in 2005.

Maybe worth phoning up a brembo specialist and seeing how they deal with brake squeal? Then try and get the dealer to do it? |
