Sounds like the sat nav unit as I seem to remember that is where you would have removed the disc from.

Yep, I'm pretty convinced it's the sat nav unit, but it makes the same noise with no disc in place.

Do you have sill plates? I found that I hadn't stuck the drivers side one down hard enough and it was rattling on the underside of the door at speed on less than velvet smooth roads. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Check your external door trim - if this is loose it vibrates the faster you go and makes a sound like the one you've got. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

just got back from ols so have missed thishowever I had exactly the same problem - take a look at your door trims at the bottom of your nearside door - they make this noise whenthey'e not pressed on correctly.

I suppose - replacing the one she currently has, which will get chucked in the back of the cupboard only to find that in two weeks time, she has to go back to it because the new one doesn't have enough pockets, straps and buckles. |
