how to change oil filter and what's the best oil for a TDV6 engine?

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Couldn't tell you about the filter but the best oil is Castrol Magnatec 5W30, that is what LR and the dealers use 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Y17 SUF I quote from Owners' Manual page 200 - Engine Oil - Diesel Engines - Spec SAE 5W-30 meeting specification WSS-M2C913-B Only. I have just topped up mine and recently when I visited the local dealer they gave me a free Castrol Top-up pack/kit that contains 1 litre of Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 oil............................ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Y17 SUF, go to the Disco3.co.uk site, they have a full explanation under Tips & Tricks - oil change.

Did mine a few months back, it's easy.
