Hi,

I have my TDV8 for half a year now, and it has 33000 km's, without any big problems.

It has the 20" stormers, and I know the ride will be a lot less stiff with smaller wheels.

But now they made a few speedbumps in my street. Well no problem for a Range Rover huh

But they are very annoying ! They are very short, small, screwed to the ground.

I think I can drive very fast over them, without even feeling them in the cabin.

But I think I will damage the weels.. Did not tried it yet..

So now I drive with 2-3 miles/h over them.

The question; Is there one mode in the "terain response system" i.c.m. with the air suspension wich are most comfortable with this bumps ?

aren't you supposed to drive slowly over them for a reason? pedestrians etc?

Yes, offcourse..

They are there for a reason.. (otherwise I would have remove them..

But the question is how to get over them comfortable.. not fast..

On the road that my parents house is on has these big square "bumps" bolted into the road, the track of the RRS and FFRR is so wide that the bumps are totally ineffective! It's a laugh to see the Saxo brigade trying to follow at speed down the street only to have to slam on their anchors before they rip off their low-slung body kit or push the springs up through the bodywork! A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

That was the nice thing about the old Disco and it's 16" wheels, plenty of rubber and you never noticed the bumps ... whatever the speed Had to educate the better half as she was taking the speed bumps the same way with the 20" wheels on the RRS , she nearly put me through the roof a couple of times
Take them slow or get smaller wheels with lots of rubber  Sons of dogs come eat flesh

Just casting my mind back to the LR Experience days at Gayden & Factory - when we took the RRS over railway sleepers at high speed and manhole covers by the dozen.
