yeah except the tips look oversize to me. I will settle for something that looks more decent. I am no streetracer for god's sake Cheers,

visited a muffler shop yesterday. Found out that the conection of the muffler #8 runs all the way to #7. What this basically means is that I will have to cut the existing exhaust system and weld the new pipes onto it.

This is a pity as looking at this part

I thought I could take part 8 off the system without cutting and put it back on in case I don't like the straight tubing...

Is it the same with you?

Also, JayMann, I was talking to the muffler people and it looks like the tips that am looking at installing will be pointing a little downward (as opposed to them being parallel to the road). Yours dont look that...

Also, I understand that you had to cut your exhaust as well, in the place indicated with a red circle, right?

Thanks! Cheers,

Andrei

Yep cut where the red circle is just cut it there as thats where the new SC pipe was cut. They are parallel to the road just like they would be on a SC Thumbs Up RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

I think I am going to fit these:

tested them today, looks like they will fit nicely. although they come in as bolt-ons, the muffler shop suggested they better be welded to make sure I dont lose them.

They were designed for an ML, but will fit Cheers,

Andrei

Looking at an SC today I got worried that the tips that I favour might look a little... obnoxious, if they are much wider than the stock SC tips... Hence a little request: can somebody please measure the outer dimensions of their SC tips? Both vertical and horizontal, if possible...

Thanks! Cheers,

Andrei
