Hi, can you come to Manchester area and do it on site? My V6 RRS HSE arrives a week on Monday and I definitely want this done....my only concern, will it affect my insurance and do I tell them, also will Land Rover know when I take it in to them and will it affect warranty?

Also I will be paying by company cheque so presume I can have an invoice for "Engine repair"?

We are just over the hills from Manc but a visit is no problem.

I suggest notifying your insurance but that's up to you.

LR can't detect via diagnosis but just driving the vehicle somewhat gives the game away.

Warranty would be affected if there is a claim on the drivetrain, however if it is not immediate we can remove the remap beforehand.

If dealer wipes map during service we replace afterwards.

We are a legit company so invoice no problem, say for 'engine fault diagnosis'

OK folks - I am no supremo on c\ars - I have no real interest in bhp - I just want it to go well and sound good!

So - I thought I would get my V8 're-mapped'. Really was a little bit unsure and perhaps sceptical however a few of the posts on here had been positive so thought I'd try it.

So - a lay man's view is this......

WOW!!!

From first driving off it felt different. Smoother, immediate pick up, almost quieter but then when you put your foot down it roars and there seems to be far more power. It seems my computer has added another 100 miles or so on to the range distance - hopefully that translates to mpg!! What great fun driving back from Northallerton today - overtaking and just cruising.

I have to say (and I am no way affialiated with D-Tech) this is a massive improvement to my car - I love it.

If in doubt - get it done - it has transformed the way I drive this car. (....cue doubters who don't believe in modifying cars....)

just had my V8 remapped by D-Tech not sure the front wheels were on the floor all the way back to liverpool............. had to keep the boot off it coming past Manchester Airport just in case i got on the flight path

Rob & his son a pleasure to deal with & very knowledgeable only problem i i want some of their wheels now !!
