I just got a nice surprise. My insurance came down from £710 last year to £550. Royal & Sun Alliance via a broker (Marsh). - I have a 55 SC and am 33 (male - i think)..... Range Rover Sport SC - Java / Tasmods / Skirts

Royal & Sun Alliance underwrite Land Rover Insurance. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

R & S are the ones who LR quoted me a high premium with, but are also the same insurer that Adrian Flux placed me with when i went with them |

Well you will go and buy these flash powerful cars, got to pay the price somewhere down the line! Just think if you owned a 1.4l Honda Civic with a Max Power body kit and oversized wheels you would probably only be paying 2/6d a year (12.5p in new money for those that cannot remember that far back!) |

High renewal premiums are partly caused by insurance companies believing an existing customer will just renew and stay with them, as a result they try to up your premium.

Well my car has arrived at the dealers and should be ready for pick up on Friday,just 1 last thing to sort out now and that is insurance.

Odd. Try LV, Chris... they were best for me at the time and was insured for business use (although granted, not with a business partner as named driver).... |

Correct,just googled VA insurance and yes its Liverpool Victoria,unfortunately they won't cover anything with alloy wheels unless you take them off and lock them up at night |
