Indeed - loses the whole "floating roof effect". The RRS can only take so much colour coding in my opinion - and it works better on the darker colours. There was a pic of a fully colour coded Silver one doing the rounds some while ago and it was just too much. But each to their own Very Happy

This is colour coded. I.E. Most grey bits are now body coloured (including door handles on mine)

Forgot to say - the black RRS can tae full colour coding as the bits that need coding are dark already.

Black is really rather common! Wink RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

This is how to ruin a RRS by coding.

And a silver one.

Please note how the car now looks like the old style Range Rover. Be very careful when colour coding. The roof needs to have a floating effect. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

Just regarding colour coding, anyone got any idea what price I'd expect to pay to get the lower sills painted. I'm after Java Black and eventually looking at getting the handles done.

That'll be it for me in terms of colour coding. I'm just not a fan of the plastic look.

Cheers.

I would have thought painting the Lower Sills would make it really hard to keep the car looking good due to the number of scratches you would end up with. The type of plastics used in those areas tend to be more scratch resistant, but if you painted them I think it could start to look scruffy pretty quickly. Range Rover Sport - 2.7 TDV6 HSE - Java Black - Privacy Glass - Dealer Superchipped - a set of swanky TASMOD sill plates & Body Colour Matched SC Grill & Side Vents.
