A lot of these plugins aren't actual remaps Wokka... they simply gain more power/torque from increasing the boost pressure in the turbo. I'm no expert on this kind of thing so I won't try and explain much further but there are plenty of posts here from the likes of Nutty Nige and Cornelius Vermuyden that explain why a flashed remap is better for your car Very Happy Also look at the price point.... this is about 1/2 the price of your average Turbochip upgrade and you get what you pay for.

There is the issue about LR not being happy about "chipped" cars, but I suppose it's all a game of risk vs benefit, which only you can answer in your own circumstances.

I had this NEW 07 model TDV6 RRS on the dyno only 2 weeks agao for some more developement work for a 2009 Dakar car.

We also decided to run some of the uk's finest tuning boxes at the same time Very Happy .

I admit we did not run one of the boxes in question but the ones (well known brands) we did were not up to there advertised spec so to speek.
And in some cases left us speechless about the things it changed.

If you are after more power get a remap IMHO
