Four 20" RRS wheels & tyres for sale!

Don’t know if this is of any interest to anybody, but I have 4 X 20” original RRS wheels with Continental tyres?

Have a look at......these are the actual wheels.

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u19/rad...onSide.jpg

They have done 15k miles and I am replacing the wheels and tyres and would like to sell the originals.

Two wheels have a bit of kerb damage (nothing major), the tyres are worn and will need replaced soon, but are still legal.

Its really not practical to deliver so collection only from Hertfordshire......but here’s the good bit 'Razz' - £290 for all 4.

Give me a call on 07860 480000 or send me a pm. .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

Tasmod's SS bits, TV, ipod/USB, vase of daffs on the back shelf, tropical fish collection in the centre console, hamsters in the spare tyre and finally sheep on the passenger seats.....for weight distribution, what else??

Not for me RAD as I already have exactly that set. But I recently bought some wheels and tyres for a Defender on EBAY and was amazed at how cheaply and easily Parcel2go.com sorted the collection and delivery. From memory I think it was £8 a wheel and they were delivered in 48 hours. Worth knowing if someone wants them a bit further away.

I have been told over on freel2 that they do fit but

Quote:
but you need different suspension blocking rubbers on the shock absorbers. The stability of the axles and roller bearings is sufficient to bear the extra load. But be aware that fuel consumption will increase considerably, ride quality (suspension) is reduced noticeably and wear will increase in general.

i'll give it a miss don't want to mess with the suspension or lose any more mpg, great price through, To help i have put a post linked to here over on Freel2 might get somebody who does what to add 20's to the FL2

Nick

Sorry for not responding sooner, but had to wash the dishes and walk the dog......I think I got it the correct way round.

The wheels are still for sale, although I must admit, for the price am a bit surprised 'Shocked'. Will give it a few more days then list them on eBay and probably get another £100 or so 'Razz'. .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

Excellent news, the wheels are sold.

Bad news, sorry to let down the other potential buyers! .
