I think the flashing by other road users is probably just down to the brightness of the Xenon bulbs. I get flashed as well occasionally and I find the same if a Q7 is coming towards me in the dark...in that its lights are very bright.

I suspect if you have no alignment issues....then motorists will get used to the fact that some headlights are brighter than others. MY08 RRS TDV8 HSE, Stornoway Grey, Ebony and Zabrano, sunroof, hybrid tv, premium ICE, rear E diff, privacy glass, side steps, mud flaps, S/Grey mirror covers, Venture shield,tasmods, smoked indicators, Larini sports exhaust, etc, etc.

Xenon adaptive lights are well known for this, they are just doing exactly what they were designed for, but if your coming over a dip in are road or on a bend the on coming trafic do tend to cop it. Speed Limits! not where I live!

I don't think the general non-car aware public are really aware that there's different types of headlights... in most cars with Xenons it's no so much of an issue, but I suppose the extra height of the lamps in the RRS make it "blindingly" obvious to oncoming traffic.
