I've been lurking for some time now finally decided to "join the club" and order a V6 Sport SE so thought it's about time I registered after spending hours reading all the advice,thanks guys.
would like a little bit of advice if that's OK?
I need to get rid of my two year old personally owned Mercedes E Class before I take out a company contract hire on the RRS,don't really want to have the hassle of selling it personally is there any way I can get a part exchange as part of the deal other than going with a Land Rover finance deal?
Hope somebody can help.

The dealer will take your car as part-ex with any finance - theirs or someone elses - the part-ex is not dependant on their finance.

I think what your getting at here is your buying new so believe LR finance is the way, well that is what the sales guy will have you believe, speak to other LR dealers, they will all have their own outlets for used vehicles so you may find the PX value could be better, but if the finance deal is the issue here speak to a independant finance house, they will be most likely to find the best overall package that will suit you and your company needs, site sponsor Kam has assisted many members. I've got a couple of quotes from independent finance companies and will get a couple more before I make a decision,we went into Guy Salmon in Sheffield today to choose colours and asked the question,the "salesman" wasn't the slightest bit interested and said if I didn't use them for the finance he couldn't do a part ex for me and that I would have to sell it myself.
Tried Gordon Lamb in Chesterfield but they didn't have any one in to talk finance today unfortunately.
I'll pm Kam and ask him to work me a deal out.

Wow this is like live chat.
No definately won't be going back to GS,he said he hadn't got any brochures,couldn't let me look in the V6 in the showroom because it was sold and didn't even ask my name,not another soul in the showroom so it wasn't as if he had anything else to do.
Bit disappointed that there was only 1 guy on duty at GL on a Saturday you'd think it would be their busiest day?
It will be interesting to see if they ring me back next week.
Gosh I'm beginning to sound like Victor Meldrew but I did come home feeling very deflated.
