I could spin a story about a Landcruiser being the recovery gear that that will most likely get me shot on this forum. let along what Ivery and Zilch would say!

Having other vehicles there is the first important thing, and the second one is having other experienced off road people with you. This means that you are less likely to get into trouble to require the recovery gear in the first place.

I liken it to airbags in cars - If I had the choice, I would take a powerful car that handled well with no airbags than some piece of crap that handled like a wet paper bag with 20 airbags.

The basic gear if you are going bush is common sense stuff, a shovel, a jack and a snatch strap. Anything else from there is a bonus.

Have fun waiting Tastech - I was was quoted 12 weeks and it took over 20 Just a white TDV8 with a few extras

I am so sorry to hear that - something as simple as two words on the order from can make such a big difference to the finished product.

It will be worth the wait Very Happy Just a white TDV8 with a few extras
