That is exactly what is happening... I initially thought arb or wishbone bushes, quite alarming at so few miles.

Glad to be of help. Sadly you are not the first and unlikely to be the last till LR do something about it

I have now 1500 kms on my brand new TDV8 and the "dynamic response knocking" appears
This is really unbelievable when you buy a car in this price range....

Either I am going deaf and I cannot hear this or my 8 week old /4700miler is immune from it at present. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

sorry to hear this chris - my HSE is 16k miles old and has DR, however has never shown symptoms of the knocking noise - doesn't help you I know, other than it shows imo its not simply an inherent problem or characteristic that LR believe

It's not the DR. And yes it is becoming more common for some reason. Yes LR know all about it but can they stop it

New ARB bushes front & rear and lower I think he said Ball joints on both sides on the front. They did just the ARB bushes to start with and the noise hadn't completely gone.

Its now completely knock less (touch wood). Service chap did say they weren't an upgraded part but that LR are working on an 'upgrade' fix for the problem.
