Texstar, I will let you know next time i take it out off road. When they put it on the diagnostics it came back with a fault code for the transmission and apparently there is a Technical Bulletin out for this somewhere. Once i get the paperwork from the stealer i can let people know what LR thought was the cause, and then see if the local roads prove them correct Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

Just a quick update, the paperwork arrived in the post from the dealer. The problem found with the diagnostics pointed to a faulty Transfer Case Module , which was replaced, not sure if it is the part number on the invoice, it states

RONNW508480 Module Transfer Box Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
