Thanks to James at Charles Hurst's and his Techy guys, the torque setting for the nuts on 19" wheels is 103lbs/ft A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

I was using my torgue wrench on the weekend when changing a few of my 20" tyres and the setting in the manual was 140nm.

As shmoogle has pointed out, make sure you get your ft lbs and Nm's the right way round otherwise they'll be either too tight or more worryingly too loose! |

Too tight isn't too much of a problem - too loose and you hear the wheelnuts dropping off and rolling along the road. I followed a friend who was in a Defender that he had just changed the wheels over to MTR's and hadn't done the nuts more than finger tight.............................. just managed to stop him from driving any further in time before he lost all the nuts off one wheel............................we had to walk back along a very busy road trying to collect the nuts that had gone AWOL A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.
