Yep, I did the same thing the other day, despite having a cradle I decided to try the BT connection. I guessed at 1234, 0000, then 1212 for some reason out of the blue, then thought of 2121. Bingo!

I now have my handset to connect automatically on bluetooth incase I forget to cradle it so incoming calls come through the main speakers etc. L319 D4 HSE

I did this too when I first got the car, but the trouble I had was receiving calls when I had to leave/get into the car. My phone didn't cut away/onto BT as expected... I'd get out the car and lock the doors, the phone would ring and the conversation would come out of the car speakers which wasn't what I needed Wink Not sure if this is how it's meant to work or not but in the end it happened a few times and I just got fed up with it. Have since decoupled my phone from the BT and solely use the cradle... it also ensures my phone is always getting charged. Horses for courses, though Smile
