one more for today - service intervals

The manual says that when the key is in position I, that a distance countdown to the next service appears in the display. Well not in mine it doesn't. Sad

As far as I can ascertain, this is not a feature specific to certain models but is standard to all. Anyone else missing such info? RRS TDV6 (gone)

The service interval indicator is not active on my car either, although my manual (US specs) states that the feature is market specific and may not be enabled in some countries.

Yes, it's region specific and can be enabled by a dealer if they do so choose. It's not enabled on our Land Rover vehicles around here...

I bought mine from Germany (exported myself to the Balkans via Holland) and none of my manuals (german, dutch and english) refers to region specificity. I'll ask the service agent when it goes in and see whether he scratches his head or fixes it

Thx to both of you RRS TDV6 (gone)

As I learnt last week, it only comes on when it is getting close to Service time - mine fired up with 500 miles to go, it now comes on each time the ignition is turned on.......... Currently: Carbon Black 535d
