Plastic bottom

How do you remove the plastic thingies at the bottom of the doors? Dunno what they're called so I couldn't search. One of mine has come loose and the seal is not doing its job, so I need to remove it and see what's happening.
Sorry if this has been covered before.

I mean I need to remove the "outside rubbery spoiler thing" on the door bottom.

Oh, and while everyone is giving this there complete attention,
How does one remover the rear bumper cover? i.e. the plastic wrap around,
as after the recent accident and repair (see Technical) I would like to give the frame a visual check.

To "Very Annoyed": If you are reading this, could you please submit or email me a better resolution of the diagram you posted in April (26kb just doesn't make it legible even in B&W). If you aren't reading it, I will understand.

AlanM be very careful when you put it all back together - before you put the bumper back on I would recommend that you glue the 2 tiny white plastic clips in the bumper that hold the securing screws for the towbar cover plate. It is very easy to dislodge these (and also the front recovery point cover as well) and while they are not costly to replace (0.35p in the UK) a dealer here will charge 2 hours labour to remove the bumper, put the 35p clip in and then re-assemble the bumper. Unless you have access to a ramp and can do the job from underneath, the whole bumper has to be removed to get access to these tiny clips!
