United Arab Emirates 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Buckingham Blue
rear diff noise

Bad news

Noise at 60 km/hr then disappear till 120km/hr coming again, last time dealer said it’s wind noise, I think it like vacuum or maybe hope not rear diff. start playing music like in my jeeps, the noise is something like (wooooow) so I usually switch the radio on to enjoy the trip

That's the rear diff noise the dealer call me and it will be replaced under warranty

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

What happens if you take the power off and your on the overun, If it goes away it is normally the new torque convertor design. There has been a mod but it didn't work.
The dealers have an acoustic listening device, sensors placed on the car connected to a head set of ear phones. They need to put the sensors on the diff case and the bell housing to determine which it is, Diff or Torque Convertor. If it is the torque convertor whine there is no cure at the min I think you will find. You don't stop playing because you get old, You get old because you stop playing.

07 TDV6 been and gone. 08 TDV6 been and gone. 08.5 TDV8 in evaluation mode and now gone. BMW 535D M sport Been and gone, Now time for RRS No4 - TDV6 HSE in Stornaway with Ebony - 09 Model 6 months old.
