Australia 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Thanks Clutchdust for the advice. Interestingly my Dealer here watches RRSPORT.CO.UK and has offered for me to bring the RRS in for a check. I can't see obvious wear at the moment but I will watch.

I have wear on the outside of the back left tyre. The tyre has about 22,000 km on it.....should I expect more? They are Conti's RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

"bush Settle"- Well said, The Lr service bulletin from 12 years ago.
Thats the answer Cluthdust. That was why 10 years ago you had a first service at 1000-1500 miles on most cars particularly LR and on the RR you check and reset suspension height, then when it was level you re-checked and adjusted headlight alignment and front wheel alignment, as the bush settlement and bedding in of components had now pretty much taken place. This was a sure way not to get warranty costs on tyres and the LR rep would check if we were doing it. Now the "get the money in the till asap" attitude has deemed the first service an un-required cost.
This is where forward planning on cost has gone backwards. Prevention is cheaper than cure in these cases.

mmmm, I was in the dealers the other day and the new RRS are coming out on Pirellis? Maybe they can handle the amount of people moaning about it, although the after sales guy did the old "better deal on bulk buy"

Mine came from the factory on Scorpions too, so it's not a new thing. You'd either get them or the Contis from the factory when I still had mine without much rhyme or reason as to why you got a particular mfr.
