Hi guys !! picking my TDV6 HSE up on Wednesday...the dealer says that it is an un-registered cancelled order with a sunroof in it !!!! has anyone out there got a FFSR in their vehicle ? apparently, it is a £900 option that no one ever takes ! any comments on this ? the dealer tried to get me to cough-up the £900.00 kept to my guns, eventually got it free ! end of the month targets and all that I think..!

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Orkney Grey

Hi send-em packing !!

I too pick up my 06 HSE TDV6, this coming Saturday. I can't wait, as I was expecting not to collect until the 16th Oct. End of month means the dealer was very will to help. Wink

As for the FFSR..... well mine has the Premium ICE, upgraded Stereo, DVD's in the back.... oh yes and the sun roof! I wasn't really that fussed, but hey its there and I'm sure in the months where its a little warm, but not enough to warrant the air con it will come into its own.

Let me know how your collection and drive home goes on Wednesday!!

I do miss having a sunroof actually... despite aircon etc having the sunroof open does give you that sense of fresh air without having to have the windows down (which I don't get on with personally).

I'm wondering if anyone can help me? Sad I have had a problem with my RRS TDV6 an engine system fault comes up everytime my revs go above 3000. I lose all power and the care puts itself in limp home mode and the car has no power at all. I can reset the engine fault by switching car off and on and all errors dissapear until i rev above 3000 again.......... I've been told it is a fuel contamination issue as i had a little moisture in the fuel filter. I have now drained the fuel tank and flushed all the lines and problem still occurs.......
I have no idea where to turn too as Land Rover have listed it as a cotamination problem and it is not covered under warranty...

This would probably be a question to ask in the Technical section of the forum in order to get a better review of the question.

Wish I could help, but I'm sure someone else can.

Has your dealer discounted an egr valve problem. I haven't checked through any of the posts that some of the other guys have put up about this problem but it does sound familiar.

Someone with better knowledge will no doubt respond soon.

Try another dealer and don't mention anything about fuel contamination. Might be worth posting this question on www.disco3.co.uk in the "Australia" section (same engine in the D3) and also ask about good dealers - they make all the difference!

I had the same problem, it got worse and worse - tried a software update first but it didn't help - and then they changed something to do with the fuel system - normally done under a service, but they did it under warranty - and then back to normal and fine!

It was a bloody pain - got so bad that it would do it 12-14 times just on a trip to Nottingham from London.....but I am sure some of the threads on here have come accross this same problem.....good luck Thumbs Up
