In my short test drive, I noticed that the front seats were pretty firm -- probably a good idea for a truck with such off-road capability.

For anyone who has driven the RRS over a long haul, how is the comfort of the front seats? Easy on the bottom and lower back after several hours of continuous on-road driving, or other?

personally i find the front seats a bit short on the squab,on my previous ML, the seat was longer so did not give that aching feeling on the right knee, but what i do, is as soon as i begin to get the ache, i alter the seat accordingly, why it goes like this, i have no idea , and as soon as i hit a town, the seat goes back to its original position,

When new, I found the seat very firm. After 3k miles and a leather feed, very comfortable indeed in a recent trip to & from the coast (2 1/2 hours each way).

p.s. I have a friend who is an automotive upholsterer and he recommends a couple of applications of hide food on all new leather. Jaguar is his brand of choice (£5 a tub)
