United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zambezi Silver

I thought we were waiting for a cradle for the 6230I , which LR had been promising for the last couple of months. ??
Mine has software 3.40 and works fine on Bluetooth so no need to upgrade.

They've been promising a 6230i cradle for nearly 6 months and given the "no more cradles" comment, we can put all that down to marketing bullsh*t by the looks of it.

Yeh.... saga continues Banging Head

Having just spoke to LR customer services - the 6230i cradle is still in developement. They log all calls re this as they are getting 100's every day. They themselves are desperately trying to launch this product.

The mistake I made was not to transfer the numbers to my sim card before they took it out of the phone. Which I've now discovered you can do.
I kept the sim/memory cards during the upgrade. So yes I lost the numbers on my phone and had to reload them. Duh! Big Cry
You also lose any ring tones etc that you have added. TDV6 - gone

Or another solution is to use Carphone Warehouse's memory bank facility to store your numbers. Didn't think of that till afterwards. TDV6 - gone

Completely lost the will to live on the phone front - I am going to go with VA's solution. Went out and bought a new Motorola SLVR on Sunday (which will work via bluetooth, it even had the same firmware version as listed on the LR PTI update Milestone )

Am going to take one of the spare 6230's and keep that in the car with call forwarding set up when needed (additional SIM to be obtained from service provider) Currently: Carbon Black 535d
RIP: RRSTDV6 HSE & DISCO3 HSE
