Dog Ramps

My parents are looking to buy a DOG RAMP for their labrador who now finds it difficult to get into the back of their Range Rover - Has anybody got any 1st hand experience of such products or can reccomend any ?

Cheers

Hi
I bought a dog ramp last week for £99.99 very well made but not well thought out, when it is collapsed down to its smallest size it will not fit in the boot with the dog.
It is about 34" long when not in use.
I am now trying to design one of my own which will be 24" long when not in use.
Good luck in finding one and if you want to buy a good seconhand one cheap I will sell ours shortly.

Hi Martin
This is the ramp I bought and when closed it will not fit in the RRS boot lenth way and if you put it across the boot no room left for dog, it can go across in front of the rear seats but then you have a two seater, you could fold down one seat but still not ideal. Michael

My parents use one in their D3 for a lab with OCD. My comments are that your dog needs a bit of training to use it and they are still quite steep. My mother does struggle with the size of the ramp, especially in the wind. Theirs is a folding one, they sell them at Lintran and a lot of other kennel/cage companies.

My parents pick up any old dogs when it gets too frail to jump in.

Or, you could get one of these:
