Hi Pete, yep they changed the steering rack to the new and improved version and balanced, rotated and realigned the wheels/steering etc. Speaking to Alto they said they had a few problems with steering racks and were told to replace it straight away.

Just waiting for it to go in and have the bonnet resprayed to take out the coppering affect that i have spotted Rolling Eyes i will get that done on the 6 month service, which is due in the next 4 weeks according to the count down timer.

Cheers

WD, it looked like the sport had caught a very large ring worm infection Shocked Laughing there are very light copper circles discolouring the paintwork on the bonnet. They were not easy to spot at first, it was whilst putting a chamois across the bonnet (no blond available at the time Whistle ) that i noticed it. I think it is more pronounced due to the colour of the vehicle. Landrover took some pictures and hey, 4 months later its down for a respray of the affected area Thumbs Up Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Hmm, wondering what caused that? Especially of it it not prensent elsewhere on the car (I hope Embarassed )

Must have been some sort of contamination in the spray booth. Just a white TDV8 with a few extras
