Ipod thru NAV TV

interesting yarn on the IPOD, looks like NAV tV have the solution.

you need to read the whole thing, but in short it says NAV tV will have a standalone ipod on the touchscreen solution without the need for the TV hack, in a month or so.

To the best of my knowledge this isn't going to be available for a while in the US, nevermind the UK!
The Alpine vbub solution looks promising, but again, that is a while off for touchscreen cars sadly.

I asked Alpine if the V Hub would be available for the RRS in the near future and their reply was "there will be a range of adapters for the V hub coming out soon".
So who knows when. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

You can technically use Alpine's VehicleHub now, but it's not what most people really want. The unreleaed Nav-TV iPod satellite radio hack is probably a better bet.
