Someone ripped the rear bumper and liftgate off 3 days after we picked the car up (we were even parked up as well) doing $6500 worth of damage .... but now its all sorted cannot even tell.

The interior is what they call Ivory.... white to me too, but with 2 kids in the back its no eating or drinking... so we have another car for that, which at the end of the week resembles a rubbish bin Very Happy

Also give the heat here, regular conditioning of the leather is wise so that tends to keep things clean as well, plus most folks take their cars to the Hand wash place once a week anyway for a "detail" ... Hurray for America !!!

Just depends which way you swing ..... Left or Right Laughing

LHD just seems a wee bit better when your navigating down 8 lanes of Interstate 10 in the morning surrounded by HUGE 18 wheelers driven by crazy truckers everywhere you look Smile

Hi Ayates. Just curious but was it a lot lower cost to buy in the US versus UK. PS I guess your in the Oil and Gas business being a Brit and moving from Aberdeen to Houston? New RRS

Hi Ronnie,

We paid around $71000 which is about 35500 Pounds with the exchange rate.... for a RRSSC Rear ent system, Stormers, Car Tracker this is about a 4k discount off list. (not sure if there is a difference in US and UK spec on std stuff) and $3 for the GB sticker Laughing

We also get free servicing which saves tonnes as well, not sure if the UK does that or not ?

Yep moved from Aberdeen first to Norway (where even LR3`s cost over around 90k Pounds... yikes ! ) then to Houston all with the Oil and Gas Industry as you predicted. So far drove an LR3 here for the last few years and now the RRS.... also saw my first LR2 in the local supermarket carpark this afternoon.... a very nice job done well by LR better than my old Freebie I once had Smile
