Rear Hatch Squeak

I am getting a squeak from the rear hatch when I open it. It squeaks about 3/4 the way up. Has someone found a way to stop the squeak and make it move a little easier?

I would say the 2 struts possibly need attention? Best try a very small amount of lubricant ie. grease or even try WD40 - that should eliminate any SQUEAKS your experiencing from that area,
