United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Zambezi Silver
Back to the dealer for 3 fixes

10,000 miles down, and still thrilled with my RRS.
Unfortunately three separate issues mean a visit to the dealer.
Got a "coolant level" message on the display and after letting the engine cool, checked the resevoir and it was bone dry. Dealer suspects a leak and wants to check the system for same!
Second, the ash tray light has developed a mind of its own, sometimes it works, sometimes not. This most likely was caused by technician error when the faulty ash tray cover issue was resolved by installing a new unit on my 7,500 miles service visit.
Third, the tailgate has gotten lazy and does not want to raise fully. Dealer has decided to replace the struts. I know that y'all in colder climates have also had this issue, but here in Texas we've had the second warmest January in history, so the cold weather impact should not be factor according to the service manager.
Hopefully this is my allocation of issues for this vehicle.

Re: Back to the dealer for 3 fixes

I just got back from the dealer about the same issue on Low level coolant message and it was the reservoir that they replaced. The sensor is inside the tank. Anyway, all is good after that. Goodluck on your RRS!!! I'm guessing we are about to see more low level coolant message coming up.
